Lincoln Elementary recently hosted its Bows & Ties Father–Daughter Dance

This amazing event was sponsored by our National Elementary Honor Society, one of three in New Mexico. Fathers and Daughters gained admittance by supporting a canned food drive. NEHS donated 322 pounds of food to Battered Families Services.

Smiles, laughter, and sweet memories filled the room as dads and daughters enjoyed music, dancing, and time together. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special night a success!

Lincoln FAMILY!!!! Thank you to those who were able to attend our Father-Daughter Dance!!! It was AMAZING!!! Next week on Tuesday, we have a Test Strategy and STEM night for all families from 5-6pm. Plan on joining us even if its for ten minutes. We just want to see our families enjoying one another company. Also mark your calendar for January 13th, we will host a Winter Arts Fest and Explora will be on campus for a night of Science and Art.

Lincoln FAMILY!!!! Next week marks the start of MOY I-MSSA Testing. Please see the attached flyer. Student attendance is key to our success. Please encourage your student to do there best and never let it rest until their good is best and their better is best! We are still accepting nonperishable food items for our Father-Daughter dance on Tuesday 12/9 from 6-8PM. Parents, thank you for taking the time to read with your student(s) as much as possible.

Lincoln FAMILY!!! Please remember to bring your nonperishable food items to our front office to gain a ticket to our Father-Daughter Dance this coming Tuesday from 6-8PM. Also, Middle of Year (MOY) I-MSSA Testing (3rd-6th grade) is taking place for the next two weeks. One section a day will be given. Please have your student(s) get plenty of rest and a good breakfast. Also, encourage them to try their best as their scores directly reflect the effectiveness of our teachers diligent work. I know we will be #1 in GMCS with your support! Go Lynx!!!!

Lincoln FAMILY!!! Our Father Daughter Dance is coming up next week on Tuesday from 6-8PM. Please bring a nonperishable food item to receive your tickets to the front office by the end of the week, Friday 12/5 by 3:15PM. I hope each of our Families had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! We are so proud to see all of our kids back at Lincoln. Today we have 96% of all Lincoln Students in attendance! Great job Parents!

Lincoln FAMILY!!!! On Tuesday 12/9 from 6-8PM, National Elementary Honor Society will host a Father Daughter dance to kick off the start of the first GMCS National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) Chapter (flyer attached). There is no cost to attend the dance but participant must bring a nonperishable food item to gain a ticket to the dance. Nonperishable food items can be dropped off in advance in our front office. Donated items will go to needy families at the Food Pantry. Deadline to receive your tickets/donate a nonperishable food item is Friday 12/5. The dance is semi-formal-- Bow Ties and Ties. Thank you for being apart of our Lynx FAMILY!!! P.s. NEHS will host a Mather Son dance in February.

Our amazing food service partner, SFE, is helping us celebrate the season by providing Thanksgiving meals at all area schools! 🥰

Volunteers needed for Trunk or Treat Activity Friday 10/31.

Parents and 5th and 6th grade athletes, Elementary Volleyball practice will begin next week 9/2 at Lincoln. Practice times may be adjusted but will likely be 3:15PM to 4:30PM. Coach Diaz will have more information Tuesday 9/2 at our first practice. All athletes will need a sports physical to participate. GMCS will provide a jersey, and families will need to furnish their own shorts and knee pads.
