Message from the Lincoln Lynx Administration!
Dear Lincoln Lynx Family!
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Lincoln Elementary School. We are honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such rich tradition of education and support for our student success!
We believe that one of the most important aspects of an administration team is to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff as well as the greater community. We have found that students and parents really appreciate a person who genuinely invest in them by listening and by being fair and consistent. It will be particularly important for us to make sure that you and your child feel safe and respected at our school.
We strive to provide an atmosphere that promotes high amounts of learning on a daily basis. Our Lincoln team will work hard to make sure our students are literate, problem solvers, who as agents of change, grow and learn to spread positivity in our community and our world.
As your administration team, it is important that everyone who steps through our doors feels welcomed! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment.
As we move through the year, we ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:
- attends school daily and arrives on time- our goal this year is “LESS THAN FIVE” absences!
- completes all homework assignments given by teachers.
- reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.
- shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life.
- knows that you expect him/her to succeed in school.
It is very important that you and your child are fully informed regarding various school processes at Lincoln Elementary. Please read the correspondence sent home to families and feel free to contact the school office if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions to make Lincoln Elementary the best school it can possibly be.
Lastly, we are actively seeking volunteers to participate in the Advisory School Counsel and the Indian Education Committee. If you are interested in joining any of these, please contact the school office.
The Lincoln staff feels privileged to be a part of our school family. We thank you for your support and look forward to a wonderful year!
–PAWS Pledge: Personal Best, Act Responsibly, Work and Play Safely, Show Respect to All. I’m a Lincoln Lynx, let me show you my PAWS…GRRR!!!
Best,
